ARK organised a half day seminar that serves as a good platform for businesses to enter the Indonesian market and understand relevant legislation surrounding the industry in order to help them navigate a successful path for their business in the region. The event was jointly organised with Halal Industry Development Corporation, an agency under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and wholly owned by Minister of Finance Malaysia . The event highlighted two key speakers of the Halal and retail sector from Indonesia;

• Prof. Ir Sukoso Msc. Ph.D, the Head of Halal Product Assurance Organising Agency (BPJPH) from the Ministry of Religious Affairs Republic of Indonesia; and
• Mr. Shafie Shamsuddin, the President Director and CEO of PT Trans Retail Indonesia, formerly known as Carrefour Indonesia
